Freehills appoints talented Commercial Planning & Environment specialist

 


Freehills announced today the appointment of John Ware as a partner in its Projects group in Brisbane, effective 1 January 2008. This appointment closely follows the recent invitation of three other talented Freehills individuals to the partnership.

John is a highly experienced and respected planning and environment lawyer, having practised in this area for over 15 years. As a partner at Clayton Utz for the last seven years, John will bring to Freehills his many years experience in major planning and environmental matters acting for clients from both private and government entities operating in the retail, property development, manufacturing, resources, electricity, water and gas industries.

In making the announcement, Freehills Chief Executive Officer, Gavin Bell, said 'We are extremely pleased to welcome such a talented legal practitioner to the firm. John brings to Freehills an enormous background and knowledge of planning  and environment law  which will complement the existing strong presence the firm holds in  markets requiring these services.'
