Freehills partner Bronwyn Lincoln has been appointed a councillor of the London Court of International Arbitration Asia Pacific Users Council (LCIA Asia Pacific Users Council).
The LCIA is one of the longest-established international institutions for commercial dispute resolution, providing efficient, flexible and impartial administration of dispute resolution proceedings for all parties, regardless of their location, and under any system of law.
The LCIA Users' Councils has more than 1,600 members from 83 countries, including many of the world’s leading ADR practitioners.
Ms Lincoln is an experienced international arbitration practitioner and a graded arbitrator. Her practice encompasses the resolution of major commercial disputes worldwide, including Asia, Europe and Middle East. She is skilled in the resolution of disputes under the Rules of the LCIA, International Chamber of Commerce, Singapore International Arbitration Centre and United Nations Commission International Trade Law. Bronwyn also has experience in the management of trans-national litigation and foreign regulatory and judicial enquiries for Australian clients.
In addition to this new role with the LCIA Asia Pacific Users Council, Bronwyn is a member of the Attorney General’s International Legal Services Advisory Council, a board member of Arbitral Women and sits on the executive of the Australasian Forum for International Arbitration.
