  • Industry Funds Management in relation to its acquisition of a portfolio of eight US power stations for US$1.48 billion
  • Tasmanian Gateway Consortium (comprising Macquarie Global Infrastructure Fund III, Macquarie Capital Group Limited and Retirement Benefits Fund Board) in relation to the A$350.5 million acquisition of Hobart International Airport
  • Industry Funds Management in relation to its acquisition of a 15.8 per cent stake in the largest refined petroleum products pipeline in the United States, Colonial Pipeline, for US$641 million
  • Industry Funds Management in its capacity as a major equity participant in the GBP₤2.2 billion consortium acquisition of AWG plc (UK)
  • Industry Funds Management in relation to its acquisition of the A$200 million Perth Courts PPP project

  • Industry Funds Management in its capacity as a major equity participant in the GBP₤1.27 billion acquisition of ntl:Broadcast (one of two national United Kingdom broadcast transmission operators)
  • Development Australia Fund in relation to its A$780 million acquisition of several Australian PPP projects (Spencer Street Station, Wyuna Water and nine New South Wales schools)
  • the mandated lead arrangers and underwriters (Barclays Capital, Westpac and Citibank) in relation to the A$1.755 billion acquisition by Alinta Limited, Alcoa Inc. and DUET of the Dampier to Bunbury natural gas pipeline (ALB Australasian Infrastructure Deal of the Year 2004–2005)
  • Development Australia Fund in its capacity as a major equity participant in the GBP₤1.2 billion  consortium acquisition of the Wales and the West gas distribution network from National Grid Transco plc, and
  • the mandated lead arrangers and underwriters (Barclays Capital, BNP PARIBAS and Citibank) in relation to the A$1.69 billion acquisition by Alinta Limited of the gas and power assets of Duke Australia.
